The Artist – Reinhard Stammer (*1952, Glückstadt, Germany)
Born in 1952 in Glückstadt, Stammer grew up in postwar Northern Germany, shaped by a world in reconstruction. Rather than following academic tradition, he evolved independently, developing a deeply human, anti-elitist, emotionally driven art practice. His work stands in the passionate lineage of Jean Dubuffet, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Antoni Tàpies, and Asger Jorn, yet remains distinctly personal. Today, his works are represented in numerous private collections across Germany, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, and the USA.
