Crystal clear waters and stunning beaches

Cala Sant Vicenc in Mallorca boasts crystal clear waters, beautiful sandy beaches, rocky shores, and is a well-known spot for snorkeling. These are just a few highlights of this bathing paradise.

Nestled off the beaten path and surrounded by the Tramuntana mountain range, with peaks reaching around 300 meters, Cala Sant Vicenc is well-hidden from the main road. The limited access routes add to its secluded charm—it’s no bustling metropolis like Rome.

A tale of two seasons

In the off-season, less than 300 people call Cala Sant Vicenc home. However, come summer, the area buzzes with activity as visitors flock to its hotels, hostels, and villas. During winter, the village returns to tranquility, and locals drive 4-5 kilometers to shop at the larger supermarkets like Lidl and Eroski near Pollensa.

Summer transforms Cala Sant Vicenc into a vibrant tourist hub, with restaurants and shops opening their doors. Yet, the crystal-clear waters remain its most famous feature, alongside a few historically significant caves near the town’s entrance.

To find Cala Sant Vicenc, head to the northern part of the island. From the main road between Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa (MA2200), take the somewhat mysterious exit west (MA2203) about one kilometer from Pollensa. Be alert, as merging onto the main road requires navigating a center lane.

Located roughly 13 kilometers from Alcudia, Cala Sant Vicenc is accessible by bus, car, taxi, or bike. Buses typically route through Pollensa or Puerto Pollensa, with schedules subject to seasonal changes. For up-to-date routes, refer to TIB.

Hiking over a mountain Pass

For the adventurous, a hiking route from Puerto Pollensa offers another way to reach Cala Sant Vicenc. Starting from Las Palmeras area on Carrer de Lánfos, the hike takes 45-60 minutes through Col de Siller.

Ensure you follow the correct path by entering near Villa Bernat and passing through a gate a hundred meters ahead. A roundabout marks the point where you must take the second road on the right to avoid confusion.

Travel by car, motorcycle or bicycle

The road to Cala Sant Vicenc is of excellent quality, favored by tourists for its gentle curves. The 5-kilometer drive from the main road exit to Cala Molins, the central sandy beach, is straightforward. Parking is ample, though you may need to backtrack slightly upon arrival.
