The Rules in Spain
🚫 No smoking indoors
🚫 No smoking outdoors near entrances, children, or other guests
Still, enforcement varies. Some terraces allow it. Others have gone completely smoke-free.
What Do Visitors Want?
In January 2025, we asked 1,100 tourists:
“Would you still visit a restaurant that bans smoking completely, even outdoors?”
✔️ 94% said yes.
A clear sign that smoke-free dining matters to most visitors.
