A brief history and vision

Bodega BiniVista was founded by Søren Svenningsen, an entrepreneur with a deep love for Mallorca. His goal was not just to create a winery, but to build a community around winemaking. Established in 2016, BiniVista transformed traditional Mallorcan land into a flourishing vineyard. The winery stands out for its commitment to excellence, with top-tier facilities ensuring every stage of production is meticulously managed, from vine cultivation to bottling, resulting in wines of exceptional quality.

The BiniVista Team: Expertise and vision

Søren Svenningsen, a former lawyer turned vintner, is making his mark in Mallorcan wine production. His goal is simple: “to create the world’s best wine” right in Mallorca. A visit to Bodega BiniVista showcases this ambition, with a perfect blend of tradition, innovation, and outstanding wines.

Joan Horrach, a Deià native and former pro cyclist with 16 Grand Tours, brings his island expertise to the team. After retiring, Joan led cycling tours across Mallorca, which led to his partnership with Søren. Now, he manages BiniVista’s daily operations and staff.

Joan Lluís Bibiloni, born in Consell (Mallorca) in 1983, pursued his passion for winemaking after working summers at Ca’n Ribas. With 15 years of experience, he now specializes in viticulture and enology in Mallorca.

Marie Von Ahm, based in Barcelona for nearly two decades, contributes her marketing and sales expertise to BiniVista. With vast experience in start-ups, international distribution, and brand development, and holding the WSET diploma, she plays a key role in the winery’s success.

Julia-Nora Lorenzen, has been BiniVista’s oenologist since 2021, specializes in minimal intervention winemaking, allowing the vines to naturally reflect Mallorca’s terroir, while avoiding artificial inputs.

The winery’s portfolio includes red, white, and rosé wines, each named after local landmarks. Notable whites, like Puig de Tomir 15° and Puig de Galatzo 265°, balance acidity, body, and fruit. Rich reds, like Puig de Randa 157° and Puig de Teix 296°, offer perfect tannin-acid balance and complex flavors, aged in stainless steel and oak for added depth.
